Getting here
Access and directions
The lodge meets at the Yokohama Masonic Temple in Honmoku Midorigaoka, on the hill behind the Yokohama Country and Athletic Club. The nearest station is JR Yamate on the Negishi Line.
By train
Take the JR Negishi Line to Yamate Station (山手駅). Trains from Yokohama Station take about ten minutes; from Tokyo Station, the Keihin-Tōhoku Line runs through onto the Negishi Line and the journey takes about 50 minutes.
On foot from Yamate Station
The temple is about ten minutes’ walk from the station. The first few hundred metres are a steep climb up the hill, so allow a little longer if you are carrying a case or regalia.
By taxi
Taxis wait outside Yamate Station and the ride takes only a few minutes. Ask the driver for “YCAC no ura” (YCACの裏), meaning “behind the YCAC”, or show the driver the address on this page.
